Finished reading: One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez 📚

I need to admit that it took me a while to get into it, but oh man, what a read. I loved it. Likewise, I absolutely understand it is not for everyone (not in an elitism way but because the book is weird AF) but it is worth the time.

Sadly, I don’t think the book can be as good as it is if you don’t read it in Spanish because the way the author writes is very complex with structures that are extremely dependable of the language. Extensive descriptions, with several complex verb tenses in the same sentence. Occasionally, some sentences feel like they are 3 pages long.
